Rao alishba Khan

Alishba Khan Born in Hyderabad, Sindh Pakistan on 21st April 1998. She always had been interested and self-inspired in drawing, sketching and painting since her childhood. She received her education from Hyderabad in which she participated in all art competitions and got outstanding performance for her artwork. Her achievements made her pursue her further education in the field of arts. She took admission in The Shaheed Allah Buksh University Jamshoro, Sindh in 2016. She majored in subject “Painting” and graduated in Bachelor in Fine Arts in 2019 and has been awarded “Honors” for her thesis. Her thesis work was based on the concept of crumpled surface which reflected the natural phenomenon of light and colours. She portrayed unreal image of forms through colours in her paintings. She had a group show “Seeds of Cead” at Artkaam Gallery Karachi in 2019, a solo Exhibition at Eye for Art Gallery USA, Houston and also had her online exhibitions “Broadcast” vol: 1 at O Art Space Gallery, Lahore in 2020, and another online exhibition “UNORTHODX” at E.Exhibitions in 2020. She further participated in “Work from Home” activity online by Vasl Artists Association, 2020, and in “VMART Challenge” online by VM Art Gallery, 2020. She had a recent group show “GOLDEN LEAVES OF INDUS” at Artchowk Gallery, Karachi in 2021. Also her work virtually displayed online at “Zaaman Art Gallery”, New York in 2021. She also participated in “BEYOND THE THRESHOLD OF TIMES” 17th Young Artists Exhibition 2021 at The Lahore Arts Council (Alhamra). Her work was displayed in “Art Fest Karachi 2021” at Sambara Art Gallery (Liaquat Memorial Library), in Karachi. She aspires to work further in the field of arts to open and explore different art horizons.
