Tanweer Farooqi is a widely exhibited figurative painter who studied under the guidance of Iqbal Mehdi. Besides doing three solo shows, his work has been displayed at many group shows both nationally and internationally. Tanweer Farooqi also curated an award winning show at inaugural of IAF (Islamabad Art Festival) 2019. He is also currently the President of the Artists Association of Sindh and the Deputy Chairman Artists Association of Pakistan
